What you should do after a Slip and Fall Accident

You may be distressed and confused after a slip and fall accident. If you suffer a slip and fall, immediately do the following:

  • Seek medical attention: Your first priority is your health- if you haven’t already, get checked out by a doctor, as certain injuries are not immediately apparent.

  • File a report: If you didn’t have time to report your accident at the time of it occurring, file a report with management so you have official documentation of the accident.

  • Take pictures of the accident area: Having images or video of the area can help to determine liability

  • Save the witnesses’ contact information: If anybody saw the incident, make sure to take down their contact information
